All PSYched for Gangnam Style Dance Fever!

Singaporeans are definitely all PSYched to join in the motions of Gangnam Style Dance Craze at Marina Bay Sands on 1st December! Lots of gyration, hands and hips in coordination and of course you cannot do without the catchy “Techno-like” tune all rolled into one. Gangnam Style dance is a worldwide phenomenon now and PSY is on the go by invitation to many countries to showcase his ‘much talk about’ dance! :)

Do you know that “Gangnam Style” is a Korean neologism mainly associated with upscale fashion and lavish lifestyle associated with trendsetters in Seoul’s Gangnam district (강남), which is considered the most affluent part of the metropolitan area. In colloquial usage, it is comparable to the English slang terms “swag” or “yolo”. Now that we’ve learnt something!

Raining Man!

It’s raining MAN, Hallelujahhh! Not too literal, you wouldn’t find men littered everywhere though the Hell gate opens today, maybe just “things” u can’t see. But the good news is that it finally rained heavily this morning! What a relief :)

What’s better than to be tuning in to a soothing song as you lay back and enjoy this cooling weather. Here’s a song  by 吴克羣 (Kenji Wu) – 全部都给你 (Giving you everything).

Sweet yet sorrowful song that the singer brilliantly expressed it in his voice.

Norway Northern Lights

What are your 7 wonders of the world? I will not hesitate to include Spectacular Norway Northern Lights as a must see in my life time other than visiting the Castles in France or parts of Europe. Life can be a wonderful thing when god’s creation is for all and the best thing being it is only a plane ticket away. Enchanted and mesmerized by the sights of Norway Northern Lights and desirably looking forward to catch a plane soon if only I am not so far away from my destination. Someday! :)

My date with Chanel

Massive amount of time spent at work and managing my blogshop at the same time. Tying up the loose ends, catching up on desired learning, doing my laundry and if I am not too tired I will vacuum/mop the floor on my off days. Pant pant pant… Leaves me little time to catch my breath but still need to relax and slow down my pace.

This week will be busy thus home-bound and chanced upon Chanel Fashion Show on their Cruise and Paris/Bombay Collection. Karl Lagerfeld never fails to tantalize my eyes with his extraordinary fashion ensembles creations.

The Cruise collection fashion show is set in the Palace of Versailles garden, accompanied with modern hip hop background music and the ensembles are a combination of modern trendy plus exquisite taste of French Royalty influence. As seen on female models with high collars and pompous skirt and the male models with high collars too and outer wear akin to French Royalty. Daring combination and wearable fashion that deviates from the usual yet can’t seem to get one’s hands off these magnificent creations. @_@

In Paris/Bombay collection fashion show, the backdrop and music is on Maharaja influence and Indian Sari-like apparels as part of the collection. Also interesting add ons of intricate head and hand jewelries, necklaces and beadings on apparels and bags. “Amazing“, “Gorgeous” and “Bold” are an understatement!

There’s always a favorite ad for everyone and for me on Chanel, this will be the one with Nicole Kidman appearance.

And so it is a short date with Chanel had left me with all kinds of sensations and good feelings on off day.

I Just Turn…

It’s official, I’ve just turn 19~!! How I wished. :O When I was 19, i can’t wait to grow up, start earning the moolah to buy things that I want. Now that I have reached this age, i wished i could turn back time. How ironic! Turning back time so that I can spend less on facial products and masks. Well, actually a woman’s age is always a secret so will just have to leave this part blank. :P
